More than anything, this is a HOLIDAY in the remote & timeless beauty of the Trotternish Peninsula, North Skye. There are no exhausting route marches and we take things at a sensible 'Skye pace' with the emphasis on enjoyment and safe, gentle exercise.

The holiday programmes vary to allow for the weather; it is often said that the weather on Skye can change three times a day! We therefore take advantage of good weather for walking in the hills, making coastal walks and enjoying activities & visits at other times.

Each evening, your guide will discuss the planned events for the next day.

We usually plan for a maximum of 10 guests in each walking group. Families wishing to include older children in their holiday are welcome as are walking and rambling groups.

If you are a more adventurous or experienced walker, perhaps you've stayed with us before. Then you might like to try a 'self-guided' holiday. All the advantages of the facilities and accommodation at Duntulm Castle Hotel whilst giving you the freedom to explore at your own pace and schedule.
